Important: You cannot delete a category that has products linked to it. To delete the category, you must first either delete all the products within it or reassign those products to a different category.
1. Login to your merchant dashboard.
2. Click on the “In-Person Payments” tab in the top navigation menu.
3. Navigate to the Categories section by selecting “Categories” from the side menu.
4. On the Categories landing page, locate the category you want to delete.
5. Click the three vertical dots next to the category and select “Delete Category.”
6. A “Delete Category” pop-up will appear, asking for confirmation. Click “Delete” to permanently remove the category.
· If you decide not to delete, click “Cancel” to stop the action.
7. After confirming, the category will no longer be displayed on both the POS device and the dashboard.
· Note: Deleting a category will not delete the products listed under it; instead, those products will be moved to the “All Products” category.
