Collection and payout process
Payfast simplifies the purchasing process, providing a secure and trusted third-party with fast payment confirmation across multiple payment methods.
We collect multiple payments on your behalf which accrue to your Payfast account. You can then request a Payout on a regular basis (Weekly, monthly etc.)
Whilst payments reflect instantly in your Payfast merchant account, there is typically a delay involved when processing the funds into your bank account.
You can easily configure scheduled payouts on your account so that your funds are automatically paid out to your bank account on scheduled basis.
Each payment received is subject to a 48 - 72 hour holding period after which it will be eligible for payout. Payouts take approximately 2 working days to appear in your bank account.
