To help keep your Merchant Access Portal (MAP) account secure, we have a lockout system in place to protect against unauthorised access attempts. If you enter incorrect login details multiple times, your account will be temporarily locked for your protection.
If you input incorrect login credentials (username, password, or company name) three times in a row and recieve the below screen 3 times, the system will automatically lock your account.
If your account has been locked:
Do not attempt to log in again. Further attempts will not unlock your account.
Contact our support team at support@payfast.help
Our team will:
Verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
Assist you in resetting your password and unlocking your account.
Once verified and unlocked, you’ll receive confirmation from the support agent and can proceed to log in using your updated credentials.
Double check your username, password, and company name before attempting to log in.
If you’ve forgotten your password, use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen to reset it instead of guessing.
Ensure Caps Lock is off and that your keyboard input is correct.
Your credentials are private and should never be shared.
Payfast will never request your password or login details via email, phone, or chat. If you receive any suspicious messages, treat them as phishing attempts and report them to us immediately.
